Neck Pain Frequent When Staring At Smartphones Or Tablets

Neck pain is a result of slouching down the head to check the little screens of smartphones and tablets. It is labeled as a modern day epidemic due. Bending the head forward puts excess pressure in the neck vertebrae and muscles. This pressure increases with the angle of the head. It gets worse on children who regularly use their parent’s phones and tablets to play games, which don’t have their bones fully formed. According to specialists, if this heavy usage of screens I not controlled, the next generation will have rounded shoulders, and a concaved chest, which will reduce pulmonary volume, causing breathing difficulties and a higher risk of asthma. Later, as adults, they will have difficulty taking in a normal amount of air into the lungs during each breath due to permanent bone malformation. This will also result in neck pain, migraines and headaches, since most of them are associated with a bad posture.
